AC/DC have shared a cool new black and white video for “Realize,” the opening track from their latest album, Power Up that arrived in November last year.

With travel so difficult right now, all five members were filmed in separate locations for the clip. But, with the help of some tricky editing by co-director Clemens Habicht, the band appear to be performing the thunderous track together in a studio stacked to the ceiling with Marshall amplifiers.  Watch below.

Power Up is AD/DC’s first album in six years. They cut twelve new tracks with producer Brendan O’Brien - the same producer who helmed Black Ice back in 2008 and Rock Or Bust in 2014. The songs were written by Angus and Malcolm Young, prior to Malcolm’s death in 2017, and feature’s Malcolm’s nephew, Stevie Young, performing his uncle’s parts.

Speaking to SPIN in 2020 about the making of Power Up, Brian Johnson and Angus Young reflected on Malcolm's presence in both the songs and their spirit, saying: “Malcolm is what drove us on in the studio, you know, he was in every chord. He’s in every song and every thought, and we’re not spiritual people. He wouldn’t stand for anything that didn’t excite him personally. I think that’s what we’re always gonna remember: that the core of AC/DC was Malcolm Young.”
