After having to cancel the 2020 Bluesfest back in April this year, organisers were quick to start planning a triumphant return in 2021. The first lineup announcements for next year’s event were made back in July, featuring 2020 internationals, Patti Smith and Bon Iver back at the top of the bill, along with Aussie rock legend, Jimmy Barnes

Now, they have expanded the lineup with a new round of announcements that adds a stack of Aussie icons to the already massive bill, including The Church, The Living EndAngels, Daddy Cool’s Ross Wilson with his band, The Peaceniks, and many more.

Festival Director, Peter Noble couldn’t hide his excitement about the bill so far, saying in a statement: “Look at this lineup – all that talent.”

“When it comes to musical talent Australia is an embarrassment of riches and it is a privilege to create a line up to clearly showcase that very fact.”

Bluesfest 2021 are on sale now via the festival’s official website, but organisers acknowledge the evolving situation and ensure they are working closely with government agencies to make the event COVID safe for attendees. Get more info, full lineup and tickets at bluesfest.com.au – here.
