After a six-year hiatus, Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival made a triumphant return last year for its fifth installment. The all-star show featured a stack of high-profile players, including Jeff Beck, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt and many more. The impressive cast of six-stringed wonders performed at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, raising funds for the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, the chemical dependency treatment and education facility that Clapton helped found in 1998.

Throughout the show, Clapton shared the stage with others to perform a selection of his best-known songs, including “Layla” with John Mayer, plus acoustic versions of “Wonderful Tonight” and “Lay Down Sally” with Andy Fairweather Low. Clapton also paid tribute to his late friend George Harrison with a searing rendition of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” with Peter Frampton.

Actor Bill Murray was M.C. of the two-day event that brought together legends and contemporary stars with rising talents like The Marcus King Band, whose performance of “Goodbye Carolina” was shared with the announcement. Watch below.

The on-stage collaborations provided some of the most compelling highlights! Including a cover of The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog” by Doyle Bramhall II, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Jim Keltner and Bill Murray; a version of Merle Haggard’s hit “Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down” by Vince Gill, and an incredible Clapton lead ensemble performance of Prince’s “Purple Rain” and Joe Cocker’s “High Time We Went.” – see full tracklisting, here.
