Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave have united for a highly sentimental performance on Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage during Kylie’s set after she was handed the famed ‘Legends Slot’ by organisers Michael and Emily Eavis – a billing that has seen the likes of Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton in the past.

The close friends took the opportunity to perform their 1995 hit, “Where The Wild Roses Grow” (from the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' Murder Ballads album) for the thousands upon thousands of festival attendees. Watch below:

Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave have shared the stage to perform the iconic song numerous times in recent years and the crowd were clearly anticipating the rendition, waving red roses in celebration.

The Glastonbury debut performance was undoubtedly an emotional one for Kylie who had to cancel her 2005 headline slot due to her breast cancer diagnosis. After describing how Coldplay had filled in and paid tribute to her that year, performing a cover of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" in their set, Kylie then introduced frontman Chris Martin on-stage to perform the track, inciting a mass sing-along from the crowd.

The Glasto crowd erupted into a full-blown disco party when Kylie stepped out in a gold sparkly dress to play "Spinning Around". So fun!

What a show-stealing set from the Aussie pop princess! Get into the Glastonbury spirit and listen to Kylie Minogue on Spotify:
