Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have added more dates to their upcoming Australian tour after announcing that they will be playing two exclusive shows at the iconic Hanging Rock in Victoria. Taking place on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November, the two limited capacity, seated shows will be the first dates on their upcoming Australian Carnage Tour.
In a social media post, the duo shared a stunning image of the famous location to announce the shows, saying, “Nick Cave and Warren Ellis return to Australia for the first time in three years to play two exclusive Victoria shows on 25 and 26 November at Hanging Rock with support from Courtney Barnett.”
The duo will embark on a North American tour and a run of European festival dates, before returning down under for the spectacular homecoming show. Speaking of the busy schedule on his Red Hand Files website, Cave recently wrote: “This fills me with a combination of extreme excitement and acute terror because, well, it’s long and punishing.”
