The Recording Academy has just announced the 26 titles that are set to be inducted into Grammy Hall Of Fame this year. The new inductees range from Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline (Good Times Never Seemed So Good)" to Joni Mitchell's Clouds. The list also features Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)," Elton John's "Tiny Dancer," Devo's Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!

Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! was the debut studio album from American new wavers, Devo, produced by Brian Eno and released in August 1978. With its halting and extra-terrestrial sounding music, set against an industrial backdrop of synth-driven melodies – it was an album for the future that confused critics at the time but is now considered one of the all-time greats.

Clouds (1969) was the second studio album from Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, following her acclaimed 1968 debut, Song To A Seagull. Mitchell co-produced the album marked by subtle, unconventional harmonies and even painted the incredible self-portrait that appears on the cover.

Other inductees include recordings by the Allman Brothers Band, the Chuck Wagon Gang, Patsy Cline, Dick Dale And The Del-Tones, Bo Diddley, Peter Frampton, the King Cole Trio, Skip James, James P. Johnson, Machito, Taj Mahal, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, the Police, Blind Alfred Reed, Joshua Rifkin, Nancy Sinatra, the Stanley Brothers & The Clinch Mountain Boys, the Surfaris and Mary Lou Williams.

For the past 47 years, the Grammy Hall of Fame has inducted a select mix of singles and albums that are at least 25 years old and “exhibit qualitative or historical significance.” With this year’s 26 new titles, the Hall collection now stands at 1,114 recordings, which are on display at the Grammy Museum.

"Each year it is our distinct privilege to preserve a piece of cultural and music history with our GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductions," said Deborah Dugan, President/CEO of the Recording Academy. “We are so honored to welcome these timeless masterpieces to our growing catalogue of iconic recordings that serve as a beacon of music excellence and diverse expression that will forever impact and inspire generations of creators."
