It’s almost impossible to find two bands more diametrically opposed than 70s disco kings, the Bee Gees and 90s riotous rap-metal stars, Rage Against The Machine. But, thanks to the randomness of the internet and a legend by the name of William Maranci, we can now hear what happens when these two very different worlds collide – and it’s awesome.

Listen to the mashup of Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” and Rage Against The Machine’s “Bulls On Parade” below:

The Bee Gees’ iconic three-part harmonies soaring over the anarchic rhythm section of Rage Against the Machine, punctuated by Tom Morello’s industrial-chic guitar stylings is a blessing to the ears; add in Maranci’s crafty audio-visual editing that makes it look as though Rage vocalist, Zack de le Rocha is actually singing the 70s disco hit and it’s almost too good to be true.

God bless the internet (and William Maranci).
