The OG renegades of funk, Rage Against The Machine have delivered a dynamite rendition of their 1992 track, Fistful of Steel for the first time since 1997 at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden over the weekend – check out the footage below!

It was the final show for the hard-hitting four-piece after frontman, Zach de la Rocha tore his Achilles heal at a previous show. The injury has forced the band to cancel the rest of their upcoming UK and European dates.

But, for the lucky fans who managed to catch the final show (until de la Rocha’s injury heals), the band pulled out a rarity from the 1992 self-titled album that hasn’t been seen on the live stage for over two decades – watch the footage below.

Last week, the  RATM announced the disappointing cancellation of their upcoming shows in a statement reading: “It is with great disappointment that we announce this cancellation. Zack must return home for rest and rehabilitation [following the New York shows]. The flights, travel time and rigorous schedule in the UK and Europe are simply too much of a risk for a complete recovery."

Feel better Zack!
