Two of the Big Apple’s biggest claims to fame are finally together at last with a new viral mashup that pairs the Beastie Boys’ “Intergalactic” with Ray Parker Jr.’s Ghostbusters theme – and it’s awesome!
YouTuber William Maranci posted “Beastie Boys – Intergalactic But It’s Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.” and even went to the effort of combining the song’s classic music video with footage from the 1984 Halloween comedy. While Maranci did note that someone had created a similar mash-up a few years ago, he said he was putting his “own spin” on it for Halloween. Watch below.

As far as mashups go, this one’s pretty spot on! Parker’s iconic keyboard riffs fit perfectly of the trio’s classic rap!
