‘The Beatles: Get Back - The Rooftop Performance’ – official artwork.

In January 1969, the Beatles – aka one of the biggest bands on the planet at the time – appeared on the rooftop of Apple Corp’s headquarters on Saville Row in London for an unannounced show that would go down in history for being their last.

Now, the Fab Four’s legendary last performance has be shared on streaming services, mixed in stereo and Dolby Atmos for the first time. Tune in below!

The release follows on from Peter Jackson’s recent documentary, The Beatles: Get Back which meticulously documented the iconic band crafting their 1970 LP Let It Be in the studio. The eight-plus hours of footage included cuts of the legendary concert, which to date has never been screened in full.

This weekend, marking 53 years since the historic event, The Rooftop Performance will be played in IMAX cinemas in the U.K. Let’s hope Aussie audiences are treated next – until then, watch a teaser trailer below.
