As Deadline reports, legendary TV host Jay Leno has been cast to play Ed Sullivan in the upcoming documentary focused on Beatles manager and music industry mogul, Brian Epstein. The casting marks the first time the 71-year-old Tonight Show star has had a feature film character role since the ’90s.

At the peak of their rising stardom, the Beatles appeared on Sullivan’s show a total of three times in February 1964 – their first fetching an audience of 73million viewers! – and made anymore follow-up appearances in the years that followed.
