90s alt-rockers, The Lemonheads are currently on a massive UK tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1992 album, It’s A Shame About Ray. At their Friday night show (Sept. 30th), the band invited Hole frontwoman Courtney Love to the stage to perform one of their biggest hits, Into Your Arms.

Prior to the performance, Love recounted her longstanding friendship with Lemonheads singer Evan Dando, telling the crowd that he “doesn’t have a bad bone in his body”.  Watch the performance below.

Love also told the crowd about the special place Into Your Arms holds for her, explaining how “at the end of Hole sets 94/95, Melissa & Eric and I, after hours of pouring our wrath blood & guts, on the stage for you folks, we’d finish, with this tender, pink confection of a song. We did it very last for me, not you. I need sweetness. I don’t write sweet."

"We all love Evan,” she continued. “He’s not got a bad bone in his body. When Kurt brought him home (Kurt pretty much liked Frances, dealers & cats only. So I was surprised to see them stumble in.) They just had such FUN with each other."
