A new, previously unseen live clip of Oasis performing Some Might Say during their legendary sold out Knebworth gigs in 1996 has been shared.
The performance – taken from the recent Oasis Knebworth 1996 documentary featuring never-before-seen archive concert and backstage footage, plus interviews with the band, concert organisers and more – captures the factious band at their zenith.
The film, produced by Black Dog Films, was released to honour the 25th anniversary of the band’s historic shows in August 1996 and sees both Noel and Liam Gallagher serving as executive producers.
Following last month’s sneak peek of Oasis performing Live Forever, watch their grand rendition of Some Might Say below.
Oasis | ‘Some Might Say’ [Live at Knebworth, 1996]
Earlier this month, Liam Gallagher announced his third solo album, titled C’MON YOU KNOW is set to arrive in May, next year.
In an interview with Chris Moyles on UK radio show Radio X, Liam shared details about the upcoming release, including the title of the next single, and one written in dedication to his brother, Noel.
“The next single is gonna be called Better Days and it’s full of sunshine,” Liam said. “And then there’s another one, I Wish I Had More Power, and it’s dedicated to Noel. Yeah, it’s a naughty little tune, but it’s lovely.”
He also spoke about his solo return to Knebworth in 2022, which, following in the footsteps of Oasis’ 1996 triumph at the venue, has now sold out two massive nights. Liam described the move as “biblical.”
“It’s gonna be ‘This is history’ – Part Two, mate!” He told Moyles.
C’MON YOU KNOW arrives on 27th May, 2022 in CD and vinyl formats. Pre-order, here.
