A new trailer for an upcoming Oasis documentary titled Oasis Knebworth 1996 has been shared this week. The clip arrived on August 10th, marking the 25th anniversary of the first of the massive two-night event delivered by the Britpop icons at the very peak of their fame.
The legendary event took place at Knebworth Park in August 1996, with the outdoor shows being viewed by over a quarter of a million music fans around the world.
As per a press release, the new documentary tells “the story of that weekend and the special relationship between Oasis and their fans that made it possible. It is told through the eyes of the fans who were there, with additional interviews with the band and concert organisers. Directed by Jake Scott from extensive concert and exclusive never before seen footage, this is a joyful and at times poignant cinematic celebration of one of the most important concert events of the last 25 years.”
