Paul McCartney surprised his Las Vegas fans with a special treat on Friday night when he invited Aerosmith frontman, Steven Tyler onstage to perform the Beatles’, “Helter Skelter” with him.
“We have a special guest for you: Mr Steven Tyler,” McCartney announced during his encore. The Aerosmith singer came onstage armed with his trademark, scarf-covered microphone stand. The two Rock legends show their decades of experience as they expertly trade lines and bounce off each other vocally. Watch to the end to see their improvised scat ending!
Steven Tyler is no stranger to the tune; Aerosmith have been performing “Helter Skelter” as part of their set on and off for years – but this may be the first time he and McCartney have performed the hard rock anthem together.
Paul McCartney is currently on tour across North America in support of last year’s Egypt Station album and Aerosmith are in Vegas for their Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency.
