Tori Amos is one of the greatest female performers of all time. A classical pianist and composer with an impressive vocal range, her style and sound is unmistakable.

Her charting singles include "Crucify", "Silent All These Years", "God", "Cornflake Girl", "Caught a Lite Sneeze", "Professional Widow", "Spark", "1000 Oceans", "Flavor", and "A Sorta Fairytale", her most commercially successful single in the U.S. to date. Amos has received five MTV VMA nominations, eight Grammy nominations, and has won an Echo award for her classical work. She is listed on VH1's "100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll" list.

What's also impressive is the way Tori Amos is able to re-interpret songs by other artists and deliver them in such a way that makes them her own. Known for always throwing a couple of covers into her live shows, and for the brilliant Strange Little Girls album of studio covers, we've picked a handful that are pretty special to share with you.

"Angie" by The Rolling Stones

"Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica live in Nottingham, 2014

"Whole Lotta Love" and "Thank You" by Led Zeppelin live in Montreal in 1994

"Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana

"Father Figure" by George Michael live in Copenhagen, 2005

"Love Song" by The Cure
