Green Day members have ushered in 2023 with a setlist of classics. Taking to the stage at The Viper Room in LA on New Year's Eve, the trio performed as their renowned side-project, The Cover-Ups to play songs by Nirvana, Ramones, David Bowie, and many more. 

The Cover-Ups began back in 2018 and features Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and touring musician Jason White. Recently, the band paid tribute to rock pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis with a rendition of Great Balls Of Fire, following Lewis’s passing in October 2022, aged 87.

On New Year’s Eve, they played a massive 23-song covers set at Hollywood’s legendary Viper Room. Watch footage from the gig and see the full setlist below.
