We're taking you back to Woodstock ‘94, in all its muddy glory! In 1994, the Cranberries took the stage – Dolores effortlessly rocking a backless dress, short hair and combat boots – to deliver a stunning version of their 1993 hit single, Dreams.
The Cranberries | Dreams [Woodstock ‘94]
It would be another five before the chaos of Woodstock ‘99, but the festival’s “peace and music” blueprint from 25 years earlier had been replaced with heavy-hitting performances from the likes of Metallica and Nine Inch Nails inciting waves of dusty crowd surfers. But the excitable crowd weren’t only there for the metal acts on the bill, the Cranberries' alt-rock/dream pop sound turned the thousands of onlookers into a writhing sea, spurred on by the electric stage presence of the band’s now dearly departed frontwoman, Delores O’Riordan.
