All the clips featuring the numbers “1972” in some way has whipped up a storm of speculation among fans, with many believing the numbers represent the title of a new album on the way.
Others have dug deeper into the significance of the numbers themselves, with one super sleuth pointing out that all three members of the band – Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – were born in that year, meaning the trio ALL celebrate their 50th birthday’s this year (Armstrong celebrated his just last week).
