Anthony Kiedis founded the Red Hot Chili Peppers and has fronted the band since it's inception in 1983. They have since released 11 original studio albums (excluding "greatest hits" collections).
He is known for his zany punk-funk sound and highly recognisable vocal style that can be best described as alternative rap. It wasn't until their 5th album, Blood Sugar Sex Magic, released in 1991, that we started to hear him sing more melodic parts.
So, in honour of his birthday and just because we love the Chili's, we thought we'd take a trip through four decades and pick a song from each of those 11 albums to feature.
