Earlier this week, it was announced that Lady Gaga would be curating a massive, one-off benefit special in collaboration with Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation to support those on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic. The event will air at 10am on Sunday, April 19th (AEDT) on Network 10, and brings together a colossal lineup of international stars from around the globe.

In a show of togetherness, hosting of ‘One World: Together At Home’ will be shared by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmell, and Stephen Colbert, and will feature performances by Alanis Morissette, Paul MacCartney, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Eddie Vedder, Chris Martin, Keith Urban, Lizzo, Billie Eilish and Stevie Wonder and many, many more.

Lady Gaga announced the massive special earlier this week (via zoom) on the Stephen Colbert Show. Watch below:

The broadcast will “feature real experiences from doctors, nurses and families around the world,” said an announcement from the World Health Organisation.

“Powered by commitments from supporters and corporate partners in benefit of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, Broadcast special to also benefit local and regional charities that provide food, shelter and healthcare to those that need help most.”

It’s also been revealed that Lady Gaga has helped raise to $35 million in just one week for the COVID-19 relief cause. Several acts, including Elton John, P!NK and Metallica have all pledged huge sums of money to help combat the virus' global spread.

For all the Alanis Morissette fans out there missing out on her planed Jagged Little Pill 25th anniversary tour that was set to kick off this month, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that some well-loved tracks from the album will be making an appearance.
