Netflix has unveiled a brand new trailer for the epic Stranger Things 4 finale, which hits the streaming service on July 1st.
The first half of the series spearheaded a global resurgence in Kate Bush fandom, catapulting her 1985 Hounds of Love hit to the top tiers of charts around the world, including in the UK where the pop icon is at number one for the first time since 1978 when her debut single, Wuthering Heights went to number one.
A remix of Running Up That Hill, spliced with the show’s original 80s-inspired synth-pop theme song, composed by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, soundtracks the latest trailer for the two parts season finale, set to pack four hours of cinematic supernatural action into two epic episodes.
Needless to say, Kate Bush is stoked. “The track is being responded to in so many positive ways,” she said in a recent statement. “I’ve never experienced anything quite like this before! I just want to say a really big thank you to everyone in the U.S. who has supported the song. It’s the first time I’ve had a top ten single over there and now it’s in the top 5! Thank you so much again to the Duffer Brothers - because of their latest, extraordinary series of Stranger Things, the track is being discovered by a whole new audience.”

Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 producer-director Shawn Levy described the conclusion of the season as “emotional as they are cinematic,” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, adding, “Holy shit, they are definitely a treat for the eyes, but they punch you right in the heart. So, that’s what I’ll say about that.”
