Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s legendary love story is the subject of an upcoming feature-length film penned by Rocketman scriptwriter, Lee Hall.

As Variety reports, the as-yet-untitled biopic-style production will focus on the couples’ enduring relationship, from when the hard rock icon fell in love with his manager, now wife and co-star, Sharon back in the 80s.

“Our relationship at times was often wild, insane and dangerous but it was our undying love that kept us together,” Sharon Osbourne said in a statement.

Sharon will also join on production duties alongside their two children Aimée and Jack Osbourne.  the film aims to be true to history — even if that means revisiting some of the darker years of her and Ozzy's relationship.

"We are striving to make it gritty, real," said Jack Osbourne. "We’re certainly going to do our best to do it justice."

Per Variety‘s report, the forthcoming biopic will feature music by Black Sabbath as well as material from Ozzy Osbourne’s solo career.

Earlier this year, Black Sabbath released a massively expanded reissue of their Ozzy era 1972 album Vol. 4. The expanded edition includes a newly remastered version of the original album plus 20 previously unreleased studio and live recordings.
