Funk legends, Red Hot Chili Peppers delivered their highly anticipated 12th studio album, Unlimited Love on April 1st and, already, it has been declared the best-selling rock album of 2022, so far.
The Californian band’s latest offering features the long-awaited return of guitarist John Frusciante, after his departure from the band in 2006 following the release of their epic double LP, Stadium Arcadium. So far, Unlimited Love has topped the Billboard 200 chart in the US and the UK albums chart, as well as hitting number one in several other countries around the world.

“Our only goal is to get lost in the music,” the band said of Unlimited Love in a press release. “We (John, Anthony, Chad and Flea) spent thousands of hours, collectively and individually, honing our craft and showing up for one another, to make the best album we could.
