Terribly sad news today that Iain Shedden, music writer and drummer for The Saints has passed away at the age of 60.
Hugely respected amongst the Australian music industry, Shedden reported on the local music scene as well as the world's biggest acts including David Bowie, Kylie Minogue, Patti Smith, Iggy Pop and so many more, writing for The Australian for almost 25 years.
An outpouring of emotional tributes across social media have appeared today from other members of the media, the music industry, and artists, all who remember him fondly.

Living between London and Sydney, he started playing drums at the age of 17 and spent nine years sporadically between 1982 - 2016 touring as the drummer in The Saints.
