Over the past few months, the Prince estate has been sharing a series of remixed and remastered live cuts from Prince & The Revolution’s historic ‘Purple Rain’ tour stop at Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York in1985. The adrenaline-fueled concert is considered to be one of the best in Prince’s entire performing history.

Previously, restored cuts of both 1999 and Let's Go Crazy from the legendary show have been shared – you can watch them below.

Now, the Prince estate has shared a freshly remastered, awe-inspiring performance of one of the late icon's most beloved hits, Little Red Corvette from the same concert. Watch below as Prince proves, with ease, what made him one of the most talented artists of our times, delivering an effortlessly playful and opulent rendition of the 1983 post-disco smash.

Prince’s epic ‘Purple Rain’ tour, in support of his iconic 1984 album and film of the same name, was mammoth, selling over 1.7 million tickets (according to Spin)! This particular tour stop at the Carrier Dome in New York on March 30, 1985 was beamed to millions live via satellite and recorded for the Grammy Award-nominated concert film Prince and The Revolution: Live.

It's considered to be one of the best Prince performances ever captured on tape, so it's only fitting that the priceless footage should be remastered and restored for full impact. Check out the previously shared cuts of 1999 and Let's Go Crazy, below.

Earlier this year, rare footage from 1970 of an 11-year-old Prince being interviewed on TV news was accidentally unearthed by Minneapolis television station WCCO by production manager Matt Liddy, while scouring the archives footage of a teachers' strike that had occurred that year.

Liddy stumbled upon footage of the baby-faced icon throwing his support behind the teachers, saying: “I think they should get a better education too cause, um, and I think they should get some more money cause they work, they be working extra hours for us and all that stuff.” he says. Check it out below.
