South American Lollapalooza fans were treated to a very special set over the weekend when Foo Fighter’s frontman, Dave Grohl invited Jane’s Addiction frontman, and festival founder, Perry Farrell to the stage for a slamming rendition of Jane’s Addiction 1990 hit, Been Caught Stealing.
“He’s the reason why we’re all here, so please everybody, Lollapalooza, tonight, please welcome, with great respect, Perry Farrell from Jane’s Addiction,” Grohl told the massive crowd, promoting the always enigmatic Farrell to join the rock legends on stage, a healthy glass of red wine in and, yelling, “¡Viva Chile!” before crashing into the song.
Grohl took on guitar duty, watching on, as excited as anyone in the crowd to witness Farrell’s soaring vocals take the lead. Watch below!
