Watch Smashing Pumpkins Perform ‘Quiet’ Live For The First Time in 27 Years

Smashing Pumpkins hit the stage at Chicago’s iconic Riot Festival over the weekend, delivering a 20 song setlist of hits and rarities for their first live performance since August 2019. 

The alt-rock monoliths two-hour set featured obvious hits lie Today, Zero and Tonight, Tonight, alongside some deep cuts from across their 11 studio albums; most notably, Siamese Dream track, Quiet which hadn’t been performed live since a year after the album was released in 1994.

Smashing Pumpkins | Quiet [Live at Riot Fest 2021]

The Pumpkins' also played Crush, from their 1991 debut album Gish, and Shame from 1998’s Adore for the first time in over a decade. Additionally, the band gave the four singles from their latest 2020 album Cyr, including the title track, The Colour of Love, Wyttch and Ramona, their live debut. Recently, Pumpkins announced they're are into amidst of recording a 33-song double album that will serve as a sequel to their 1995 double LP Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness – incredible news for Smashing Pumpkins fans!
