A New Statue Honouring Prince Has Been Installed At Paisley Park

A new statue of Prince’s iconic Love Symbol, standing three metres high and almost two metres wide, has been installed at his Paisley Park estate in honour of the late, great musician. A plaque At the base of the new statue sits a plaque emblazoned with lyrics from Prince’s 1985 song, also called “Paisley Park”, saying: 

“For love is the colour / This place imparts (Paisley Park) / Admission is easy, just say you / Believe and come to this/ Place in your heart/ Paisley Park is in your heart.”

In honour of Prince’s 1984 smash hit, “Purple Rain”, the statue is fittingly coloured purple and sits at the entrance to Paisley Park where fans can enjoy the tribute. Check out the images below.
