All Star Line-up For Aussie George Harrison Show
The Classic Kings are proud to announce a new show celebrating the music of the quiet Beatle, George Harrison – Harrisongs: A Tribute to George – performing around Sydney in mid-May.
Featuring an all-star line-up of some of Australia’s most notable musicians, Harrisongs: A Tribute to George showcases the music of the Beatle who quietly went about honing his songwriting and performing skills to create his own catalogue of timeless songs.
Harrisongs: A Tribute to George is centred around the Concert for George movie from 2002, starring Eric Clapton and a line-up of some of the world’s biggest music stars. The show will feature Sydney’s classic rock specialists The Classic Kings, with one of Australia’s finest singers, Kevin Bennett (The Flood, Moving Pictures) on lead vocals. The band features an all-star line-up of some of Australia’s most notable musicians, including John Spence (Fargone Beauties, The Big Daddys, Goldrush), Rex Goh (Australian Idol, Tommy Emmanuel, Eurogliders), Tony Mitchell (Sherbet), Chris Alford (Marcia Hines, Russell Morris, Guy Sebastian) and Lloyd G (Lionel Ritchie, Tina Arena, The Atlantics).

The Classic Kings are an all-star line-up of the best of Sydney musicians who are proud to feature one of Australia’s finest singers in Kevin Bennett, and one of Sydney’s most in-demand guitarist Rex Goh.
For over ten years they have been producing live shows celebrating the best rock music from the 60s, 70s and 80s, including “Get Yer Ya Yas Out – The Hits Of The Rolling Stones”, “Torn & Frayed” and “Rockin’ The Seventies”.
During that time they have performed sold out shows in major Sydney venues, playing the songs that have become staples of classic rock radio over the past 30 years. Every song in a Classic Kings show is a proven favourite with audiences of all ages.
