Next week, on Wednesday, September 29, Billy Corgan will be throwing open the virtual doors of The Official Billy Corgan Reverb Shop on

On offer will be over 100 items from throughout the Pumpkins’ 33-year history, including guitars, synthesizers, amps, pedals, and other gear used by Corgan on albums and tours, including Mellon Collie and the Infinite SadnessSiamese DreamGish, and more. Expect them to be snapped up quickly!

Standout listings include a Drawmer stereo compressor from 1960, which Corgan used on all his “home demos, from Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness to the Machina albums,” as he told Reverb.

Corgan is also parting with two gold Marshall JMP-1 preamps, which he calls “vintage pieces straight out of the ‘90s”, and three ADA MP-1s that defined his sound on the Pumpkins’ 1991 debut, Gish.

“I would run it into a Marshall head. That was my main sound from ’89 or ’90 through ’92.”

It’s the latest in a string of high-profile partnerships with Reverb, following auctions from Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge, Green Day and late Mazzy Star founder David Roback. Corgan has previously auctioned Pumpkins gear on the site in 2017. Check out the Official Billy Corgan Reverb Store, here.

Earlier this week, Smashing Pumpkins made their return to the live stage for the first time since 2019. Watch them perform Siamese Dream rarity Quiet live for the first time in 27 years, here.
