The latest Twin Peaks episode included a live performance by Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam!
Introduced by his birth name, Edward Louis Severson, the singer-songwriter and 90s grunge icon wore a fedora and played acoustic guitar. He performed his new song, “Out of Sand”, however, did not headline the Roadhouse, that spot was taken up by the house band who performed Angelo Badalamenti’s song “Audrey’s Theme”.
90s Alt-rock legends Nine Inch Nails, who’s front man Trent Reznor has had numerous dealings with the show's quirky producer David Lynch (see here), have graced the stage of the Roadhouse in the series too, performing their song "She's Gone Away".
Both songs are on the new Twin Peaks series soundtrack, out next Friday, September 8, and available here.
