One of the biggest music festivals in Australia took place this weekend in Byron Bay featuring a range of Australian and international artists. Splendour In The Grass attracts huge crowds from all over Oz, and the set everyone seems to be talking about as they make their way home with sore heads today as the highlight of the festival is that during what was billed as a Bernard Fanning solo set, his ex-band mates Powderfinger came out and blasted through a bunch of songs. 

 "(Baby, I've Got You) On My Mind" and "These Days" had the 10,000 strong audience singing along like no time had passed at all since the Brisbane boys played them last. In fact, it has been seven years since they have, and ten years since they were last at Splendour as a group. Check it out here. 

One of the best Aussie bands of the 90s, let's hope this reunion leads to more. We dare say, after the response they got, they'll be agreeing that it's a great idea and the time is right!
