Over the weekend, Foo Fighters teamed up with AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson for an explosive rendition of 1980s “Back In Black” at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles – watch below.
The legendary rockers performed for Global Citizen’s Vax Live event, hosted in a bid “to help end COVID-19 for all, end the hunger crisis, resume learning everywhere, protect the planet, and advance equity for all.”
Dave Grohl and co. performed a six-song set that included classic faves like “Everlong,” “All My Life” and “Times Like These” to a limited-capacity crowd of 27,000 fans – rather than the usual 70,000 – made up mostly of healthcare and essential workers. Their “Back In Black” cover featuring Johnson on vocals appeared halfway through the set. Check it out below.
